The Dutch Royal family descents from the Frisian Nassau family and they lived in Leeuwarden for many years. Traces of their past can be found everywhere. We can view their palace’s, where they went to church and where they went to relax.
The English version of the Leeuwarden Nassau Tour is only available on request. The Nassau Tour starts at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof, next to the leaning tower Oldehove and takes about one to one and a half hour.
