Sleep

Staying overnight in Leeuwarden can be another great experience. We don’t have any hostels but there are plenty of other opportunities to stay overnight.

Try Couchsurfing
The most personal way of staying overnight in a city is couchsurfing. You spend the night at a local’s house. That local is a friend that you just haven’t met yet. If you are lucky, your host is able to show you around and show you Leeuwarden though their eyes. There are plenty of people on the hospitality websites of Couchsurfing and Be Welcome. The only thing you have to do is write a request. If you just see it as a free overnight stay, then this is nothing for you. Couchsurfing is an experience!
