A Guide to Leeuwarden will organise the Frisian Tour every Friday afternoon at 15:00 in Dutch. A free walking tour through Leeuwarden that will teach you how to become an oprjochte Fries (real Frisian)!
Join our enthusiastic guide if you want to see Leeuwarden from the Frisian perspective. Leeuwarden is the capital of Friesland, a fascinating and unique region with it’s own language and culture. We will teach you a little bit of Frisian, take a look inside the State Hall of the Provinsjehûs and show you how Oranjekoeken are made.
Start: This walking tour starts at 15:00 at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof, next to the leaning tower Oldehove*. The walking tour will take about 1,5 to 2 hours. This tour is ONLY in DUTCH!
Price: The Frisian Tour is a Free tour. But if you liked the tour, you may give the guide a donation according to your own budget. You don’t need to sign up, but we appreciate if you do so by filling in the contact form below. Please do sign up if you plan to attend a tour with a group of 5 or more.
It is also possible to book the Frisian tour exclusive for your own company. We can do the tour on any day, but in the weekend it’s not possible to visit the statehall.
